Be a Volunteer

A ride like this would not be possible without bands of merry volunteers – folks like you doing a little something to celebrate life and recovery. Here is how you can help:

A partial list of opportunities is below. If you don’t see anything you can do please feel free to contact us and we’ll help find something for you. We would love your help whether it’s just an hour or for the full day.

Rest Stop

Provide water, electrolytes, and fruit at aid stations on the course for a few hours.

The timeframe will depend on the aid station location. 7 am to 3 pm

Registration Area

Start- check-in riders, get rider waivers, hand out bike numbers and timing chips.
Timeframe: 6 am to 9 am

Bike Marshals

Ride along the bike route and guide/assist riders. Must have cell phone and bike.
Timeframe: 7 am to 3 pm

Event Cleanup

Help break down Start/Finish area and clean up after the event.
Timeframe: 12 pm to 3 pm

Event Setup

Help set up tables, booths, power, and audio system before the event.
Timeframe: 5 am to 8 am

Pre-event Preparations

Participate in pre-event activities such as stuffing Goodie bags, preparing SWAG bags, organizing Aid Station materials and marking the course. These activities will take place during the two weeks prior to the event at times and places to be determined based on volunteer availability.

Route Marshals

Positioned along the route at major turns to direct riders. Bring a cell phone. The time frame will depend on the assigned location on the route. Marshals will be assigned in teams to allow for breaks. 7 am to 3 pm
