Start and Finish on your couch, your sidewalk, your bike
Safely distanced, of course
The Recovery Ride is a super fun charity bike ride now in it’s fifth year, that raises funds and awareness for local San Diego nonprofit organizations in the areas of recovery from alcohol and drugs, and HIV/AIDS education and treatment. Our three routes – 12 miles (the “Fun Ride”), 25 miles (the “Strand fide”) and 40 miles (the “Olympian Ride”) have a little bit of everything – enthusiasm, cheers, cupcakes and maybe a few tears – and will leave you with the feeling you just made a difference. Join us!
Swiss Park, 2001 Main Street,
Chula Vista, CA
Sunday April 19, 2020
starts at 7:00 am
For the more casual riders among us … a fun ride along mostly protected bike paths with volunteers along the way; lots to see and celebrate.
A little further, this route also starts at Swiss Village and winds further up the Strand along bike paths with a quick stop at the beach for selfies. YOU CAN DO IT – NO RIDER LEFT “STRAND-ED”!
Not for the faint at heart … but definitely for those training for other rides, or wanting a challenge, this route – with inland and coastal sprints – will definitely “get your heart in gear!”
If you can’t or don’t want to ride, join us as a virtual cyclist or volunteer!
The Recovery Ride is grateful for their investment and trust in our cause
Thank you to all of you riders, volunteers, fundraisers, sponsors, donors, contributors, raffle-ticket-buyers and burrito-eaters, we raised …
